The Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) proudly announces the 44th Annual Tejano Music Awards on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port + Arena. Hosted by San Antonio comedians La Chona and Big John, with special guest Valente Rodriguez, this year’s event celebrates Tejano music’s legacy and future.
Lifetime achievement honorees include “La Voz De Oro” David Marez, known for his work with the Royal Jesters, and Placido Salazar, a Tejano music pioneer who continues to promote Conjunto as a radio DJ. Both will be honored for their lasting impact on the genre.
The night promises dynamic performances by Tejano stars like Jay Perez, Solido, Stefani Montiel, and Avizo, paying tribute to genre icons. The evening begins with a red-carpet ceremony at 5:00 pm.
