The San Antonio Education Partnership (SAEP) is seeking applicants for their annual scholarship. Graduating seniors currently attending one of the 31 partnering high schools are encouraged to apply. The student must be enrolled full-time at a local participating college, or university, the semester following graduation.
Participating High Schools: Brackenridge HS, Burbank HS, Churchill HS, Cooper Academy at Navarro, East Central HS, Edison HS, Fox Tech HS, Harlandale HS, Harlandale STEM ECHS, Highlands HS, Holmes HS, International School of the Americas, Jay HS, Jefferson HS, Johnson HS, Kennedy HS, Lanier HS, Lee HS, MacArthur HS, Madison HS, Marshall HS, McCollum HS, Memorial HS, Reagan HS, Roosevelt HS, Sam Houston HS, South San HS, Southside HS, Southwest HS, Southwest Legacy HS, Stevens HS, Taft HS
The SAEP Scholarship has been in place since 1989, and on average awards $2.1 million each year. SAEP hopes their scholarship will alleviate some of the financial burden students may be challenged with while earning their college degree.
“Thank you to San Antonio Education Partnership for the scholarship; it eases my worry in paying for my education.” Claude is an SAEP scholarship recipient and is currently enrolled in Palo Alto College to earn a political science degree.
The scholarship requires applicants to attend SAEP workshops and seminars, display financial need, and achieve an overall GPA of 80 or above on their final transcript. SAEP’s goal is provide students with college success skills, such as budgeting, navigating technology, communication, and utilizing campus resources, through their free workshops.
