San Antonio, TX (October 2024) — The exclusive release party for Honey Boy, Honey Girl, the latest single from Texas Music Royalty Laura Linda, delivered an unforgettable evening at 1Watson Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. The 24 Karat Country Music Release Party brought together music, glamour, and a deeper purpose—supporting the Texas Music Project’s Music Heals Program.
Laura Linda, a passionate ambassador for the Texas Music Project, raised over $5,000 at the event. The funds will directly benefit the San Antonio Methodist Children’s Hospital’s music therapy program, advancing her mission to bring healing through music. “Music has the power to heal,” Laura Linda emphasized during a private press conference. Attendees enjoyed a sneak preview of the music film accompanying the single.
The star-studded evening featured live performances by Laura Linda and George Mercado, Jr., and showcased the music film on a striking 20-foot LED wall. The atmosphere combined sophistication with purpose. Texas Representative John Lujan declared the day Texas Music Project Day and honored Laura Linda with the Texas Yellow Rose Award, presented by Governor Greg Abbott.
The event not only marked a significant moment in country music but highlighted the transformative impact of music in healing. The Texas Music Project, a nonprofit organization, continues to uplift communities through music, driven by the support of visionary artists like Laura Linda.
