The SA Parks Foundation invites you to join the ultimate celebration of kites and canines at Fest of Tails, returning to McAllister Park on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This free family-friendly event promises a fun-filled day with something for everyone—dogs, kite lovers, and families alike.

Highlights of Fest of Tails 2025

● Pooch Parade & Costume Contest – Dress up your furry friend and strut your stuff in the beloved costume contest and pooch parade. Guests can register up to 11 AM the day of the event. Early registration available online.
● Large Kite Displays & Kites for Sale – Watch the sky fill with colorful kites or purchase one to join in the fun.
● Artisan Market & Dog Products – Browse a variety of local artisan vendors offering unique goods for both humans and pets.
● Food Vendors & Carnival Games – Enjoy delicious food from local vendors, try your hand at classic carnival games, and test your climbing skills on the rock wall. ● Plant Giveaway – Take home a piece of green goodness with the free plant giveaway (while supplies last). Special thanks to City of San Antonio Horticulture Department. ● Dog Adoptions – Find your new best friend! Dogs will be available for adoption on-site.
