Safe temperatures and running water are critical for healthy environments–especially for children and the elderly. That’s why locally-owned Shafer Services Plus is donating free HVAC and plumbing services to help people in need. They are inviting the community to nominate a deserving individual to receive assistance.
This giveaway is part of Shafer Serves, a charitable giving program dedicated to providing free HVAC and plumbing services to people and organizations most in need. Since 2020, Shafer Serves has provided more than $70,000 through donations and free services and equipment to people and organizations.
“Shafer Services Plus is honored to be part of this community and we want to reinvest in the people of San Antonio,” said Chase Anderson, President and CEO of Sahfer Services Plus.
The DEADLINE to submit a local to be considered for free HVAC or plumbing service is October 15th. Shafer will choose one winner and will reach out to them via phone and email.

They must be someone in need. Special considerations will be given to people who have served the San Antonio community.

What has Shafer Serves done in the past?
Donated and installed an HVAC system for a family living without AC.
Donated over $3,000 in products and services to assist an Army veteran who served in Iraq and whose son underwent brain surgery upon his return.
Provided $8,000 in facility improvements and air purification systems to Guide Dogs of Texas.
Provided $15,000 in equipment and repairs to SA Youth, which ensured the non-profit’s budget remained focused on youth instead of AC.
