The Office of Bexar County Tax Assessor-Collector, Albert Uresti Collects Over 300 toys and Clothing Items for Needy Children
San Antonio, Texas – Bexar County Tax Assessor-Collector, Albert Uresti, along with his Tax Office staff and members of the Community, donated and collected over 300 toys, clothing items, and personal care items for needy children and will be giving them out tomorrow at two different churches.
“We are happy to help provide a Merry Christmas to some of San Antonio’s most needy families and children by giving them toys that were donated by our employees and citizens,” said Albert Uresti. The toys and clothing items are being shared with The Visitation House, a transitional housing center for women with young children, The People’s House Church, which serves the Cassiano Homes area, and Last Chance Ministries which serves the Garden Homes, formerly the San Juan and Brady Courts. This is my seventh year as Bexar County Tax Assessor-Collector, and we have seen the generosity of our employees and citizens increase each year. It’s a joy to be able to share our blessings with families who are struggling,” added Albert Uresti.
Albert Uresti and his staff will be teaming up with the People’s House Church led by Pastor David Rodriguez from 12:30 PM till 2:00 PM and with Last Chance Ministries led by Pastor Jimmy Robles from 2:30 till 4:00 PM.
