Former Marine and single mother of three, Geneva Knott, always had an interest in entering the tech field. Now, thanks to the NPower Tech Fundamentals program, she’s not only pursuing her passion, she’s also able to be a full-time mother to her children while working from home.

NPower is a national nonprofit organization focused on increasing economic mobility for veterans, veteran spouses, and young adults by providing IT tech training for in-demand tech jobs. Currently, they are reviewing applications for the Fall 2024 cohort in San Antonio, which begins in August. Approximately 60 seats are open for the program, which is entirely free for students.
Individuals selected for the program receive top-notch training and job placement support, all at no cost. This is made possible through grants and funding by companies like USAA, Fortune 100 companies, and foundations.
