Maj. Gen., retired, Josue Robles Jr., a distinguished leader with nearly three decades of service in the U.S. Army, passed away at the age of 78 July 4, 2024. Rising to the rank of two-star general, Robles commanded the 1st Infantry Division and later served as the Director of Army Budget.
Transitioning from military to civilian leadership, Robles held various executive roles at USAA before serving as CEO from 2007 to 2015, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and service.
Media interested in attending the funeral procession with military honors should arrive to the JBSA-Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery no later than 8:00 a.m. when the funeral procession begins. The cemetery is open to the public; however, parking will be limited. Interviews will not be permitted before or after the ceremony.
