Taking the witness stand in a courtroom full of strangers to testify against a perpetrator can be a terrifying for anyone. But imagine a child having to do this; having to face their abuser who has threatened them if they testify against them.
This can be very intimidating. But it’s empowering for them to see the Guardians of the children there and know that they’ve got all these tough looking people on their side, that that guy is not going to hurt them; that they will be protected. The members role is to give support to the victims in the courtroom as they testify, showing up in large numbers and wearing matching leather vests with patches.They are a volunteer motorcycle organization that was founded in San Antonio, 13 years ago. They are not vigilantes nor do they encourage violence in anyway.
All the services they offer are funded by their once-a-year fundraiser of a raffle where a Harley-Davidson motorcycle can be won for a $10 ticket, a bike ride in memory of Rowan aka Hope,the lil Guardian who passed away 2 years ago and Fiesta Medal sales.

Annual event is held in April because it is Child abuse prevention and awareness month. There were 100 bikes given away in a free raffle to the children. There was a special appearance by the Spurs Coyote, Sparky the Fire Dog, Spider-Man as well as Lucha Libre wrestlers.
Live music was provided by SA Fire Backdraft, Melanie Munoz, Briana Nicole. In attendance was Judge Ron Rangel, Tax Assessor Albert Uresti, Council Woman District 5 Shirley Gonzalez, DA Joe Gonzalez, Miss Charro, Latin Heritage Society King, Lonestar State Queen Anahi Guiterrez, Chief William McManus and Sheriff Javier Salazar became honorary GOC members at the event and their road names are El Jefe (McManus) El Sherif (Salazar).
