If someone has tested positive for the Covid -19 and has been quarantined at home and has a family, should the other family members be making day trips to local grocery stores? ( It is happening) Shouldn’t there be something in place for the entire family to be quarantined? Let’s talk about it.. #letstalkaboutit
Mary Svetlik Watkins: “I think there should be delivery service for people who are quarantined.”
Beverly Brooks: “ It makes sense that IF the other family members can stay home, they should. That’s not always the case. Nonetheless, as long as the infected family is quarantining the RIGHT way, secluded from the other members in the home, and all of them are sanitizing and washing hands, etc, it CAN be prevented so that they don’t become carriers (sick or not).”
Vero Contreras: “I absolutely agree there should be something in place! We had a lady in Corpus Christi who was tested and awaiting her results. She was told by her physician to self quarantine and stay home. She was out at HEB & no telling where else. People just have no regard for human life.”
Thomas Mc: “I am amazed how many people don’t or won’t use curbside pick up or delivery. Those who don’t have internet access, I understand; the rest I don’t get.”
Anthony C. Tobias: “Not sure there’s much to discuss. If one person has it, the other ones could be contaminated also. They’ve mentioned many, many times you could have the virus and yet not be detected. This is one of those simple questions if you have the virus then everybody should be in quarantine. Find a neighbor to buy your groceries and let them leave them at the doorstep.”
Junia Hill: “There is a hotline on the Metro Health website. Authorities are now treating people who have Covid or has knowingly been exposed and are not staying in quarantine and intentionally going in public, putting people at risk, as an act of terrorism. They are not taking this lightly.”
Mari Salas: “I agree, its putting other people’s lives at risk!!!”
Marcus Wayne Trejo: “It is not illegal.”
Felix Porras: “From a California case shortly after the Spanish Flu outbreak. It stands as existing case law, NEVER having been overturned. “A mere suspicion [that someone is infected], unsupported by facts giving rise to reasonable or probable cause, will not justify depriving a person of his liberty under an order of quarantine.” [Ex parte Arata (App. 2 Dist. 1921) 52 Cal.App. 380, 198 P. 814.] It should be manifestly obvious that if the govt can’t do it to one individual, they can’t do it to millions of individuals.”
Tammy Crouchill: “Let me tell ya…Im sure happy and thankful to be Canadian right now. This mornings updates are projecting around 200,000 covid deaths in the US.”
Imelda Garcia: “The reality of it all is too be Real and assume EVERYONE has it! Keep yourself at home to prevent the spread. This is so horribly irresponsible! This type of Person has no integrity what so ever! I would turn them in! Quarantine People!!! If you suspect your ill, please stay home. Order on line have a family or friend drop off groceries!”
Regina Vasquez: “People need to take accountability over themselves, if not we all need to police each other. It’s wrong for them to risk the lives of others. We had one person here who was traveling out of SM. That person once arrived immediately went and got tested. That person tested positive and immediately went into quarantine. More people should be this way. Thank you for the suggestion. Be safe.”
Frank Burton: “There should be a hotline to deliver these people what they need to stay quarantined! People have to eat and drink. It shouldn’t put us at risk of catching the virus or even them at risk of not having food, drink, medications or other supplies. We are in this together.”
Jody Williges Carrillo: “Big Governments LOVE crises bc when the people are fearful they are more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s hollow promises of security. By contrast, tuberculosis, an old disease not much discussed these days, killed nearly 1.6 million people in 2017. Where’s the panic over this..?If anything, what people like Fauci and the other fearmongers are demanding will likely make the disease worse. The martial law they dream about will leave people hunkered down inside their homes instead of going outdoors or to the beach or park where the sunshine and fresh air would help boost immunity. The panic produced by these fearmongers is likely helping spread the disease, as massive crowds rush into Walmart and Costco for that last roll of toilet paper. People should ask themselves whether this coronavirus “pandemic” could be a big hoax, with the actual danger of the disease massively exaggerated by those who seek to profit – financially or politically – from the ensuing panic…”
