Graduating from Harvard University with an English degree, Nestor Carbonell convinced his parents that his Ivy League education would not go to waste. Days later, Carbonell headed for Los Angeles to pursue acting. Wasting little time, Carbonell landed guest-starring roles on daytime dramas and programs such as “Melrose Place,” “Law and Order” and “The John Larroquette Show.” Quickly making a name for himself as an actor to keep an eye on, Carbonell currently stars as suave photographer Luis Rivera on NBC-TV’s “Suddenly Susan,” with Brooke Shields.
