Telemundo60/ KVDA today announced that multimedia journalist Vladimir Flores will now be the weekend anchor for Noticias 60 Telemundo. In addition to his current role as a reporter, Flores will take the duties of anchoring Saturday and Sunday 5 p. m. and 10 p. m. news editions.
“Vladimir is a media professional and a great journalist who will continue to help us inform and serve our community with local and relevant news to our viewers in San Antonio,” said Delines Alonso, Vice-President of News for Telemundo60.
Vladimir graduated from The University of Texas in Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Spanish. He is an eight-time Emmy Lone Star award winner.
Flores will start anchoring the weekends shows on January 8.
